During the course of my career, I have been involved in the guts of the telecom network and its transformation and convergence. In addition I was head of the innovation bank at Vodafone Egypt for new product and services.
During this time, I was responsible for multi-vendor management, including vendors such as Ericsson, Huawei, NSN, Nortel, HP, IBM, Oracle, Cisco and Juniper and have intimate knowledge of the products and tactics of each of these vendors.
In the telecoms space, I help guide start-ups and mature companies that Sandstorm invests in to navigate the minefield of ensuring that their products are integrated well into the network technologies and planning horizons of their telco customers.
